We purchased a high end British manufacturer’s hot and cool air purifier from Tim at Armagh Electrical in July 2025. The machine came with a two year warranty, and I registered it on the manufacturer’s website immediately after purchase.

In June 2026, it stopped working. The manufacturer collected it, then informed me that it was beyond repair. They refused to replace it because they would not accept my valid proof of purchase, and they would not even return the faulty machine.

After weeks of futile correspondence with the manufacturer, who finally acknowledged the proof of purchase, but only offered a lesser model replacement, I contacted Tim from Armagh. He responded quickly, dealt proactively with my problem, and ultimately sent me a brand new and latest model
replacement from his own stock.

Having since read other customers’ similar experiences with the manufacturer’s repair and replacement policies, I will never buy another product from this particularly well known brand.

Armagh Electrical, however, I wholeheartedly recommend. Their service, and Tim’s in particular, was exceptional. I am now a loyal customer. 5 stars!

Kathryn was very knowledgeable and helpful when choosing an electric bed. She was able to answer all of our questions. They have a huge range of stock and brands! We were looking for a quick turnaround and Dalzells were able to accommodate us within 4 days. Would highly recommend them for a friendly and knowledgeable experience! Will definitely be back!

friendly and helpful staff when you are buying but when there is a problem they are rude and unprofessional no fridge for almost 3 weeks, I rang them to tell them I need a repair within a 2-year warranty they told me I had to contact the manufacturers myself. But when I ring the consumer helpline I was told my contract was with dalziels not the manufacturers when I said this to dalzells they told me that was wrong 18 days after my first call they eventually learnt me a fridge I would not recommend buying from them as they are rude and unprofessional

I've had a great experience of Dalzells- bought a King Koil mattress recently which was delivered to me in Dublin at a very good price. It is lovely to sleep on! Thanks in particular to Kathryn for answering my many questions. I would happily recommend Dalzells!

Have always used this family business over the years. Wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Staff super Friendly and knowledgeable. Will be returning shortly for a couple off items and have no doubt I'll get sorted out at a fair price.

I had a bit of a problem with a TCL TV, TCL were the bad guys in this situation for not standing over a warranty dispute, which eventually turned into a Credit Note for Dalzells. Tim of Dalzells was a pleasure to deal with. He provided solid advice on alternative brands/models as I wanted to stray away from TCL. I noticed the model of TV I wanted (LG C5) wasn't appearing on there online store, he quickly confirmed that they could order this in for me. Very accommodating and quick response times to my emails and calls. I would purchase future electronics from them in a heartbeat. Customer service seems to be lost on other suppliers, not Dalzells of Markethill, especially Tim!!

Ordered new fridge which was delivered yesterday. We were worried about fitting through back door and into kitchen. Also extremely heavy. Willy arrived on his own and set about removing old appliance. Would not allow us to help and calmed us down with quiet humour. Within 20 minutes he had new fridge installed adjusted and working. Dalzells have been brilliant and Willy the true star of the show

I would choose zero but the lowest option is one. My mother in law (95 and a half years old) purchased a washing machine from Dalzell’s. They delivered the machine. Yes deposited the machine boxed in middle of her kitchen floor and left. Zero service, zero customer care. Useless. Dalzells have replied to my review. That is good. The additional fact that the washing machine leaks via the door seal is somewhat less good. Poor quality service, poor quality goods. Very sorry, but that is just how it is

Hi Robert, thanks for touching base. Malcolm delivered the appliance on Wednesday, when he pulled out the old one to disconnect the plumbing and fit the new one he discovered that it was 'Hard Wired'. Only an Electrician can disconnect/connect a Hard Wired Appliance and has the necessary insurance to do so. This was explained to our mother in-law and she wholly understood. I'd ask you to reconsider your review in this context. Best, Chris
